Looking for help joining a Rod & Gun club with outdoor range with proximity to Valley Forge/Phoenixville area. Was looking at Guthsville in Orefield, very nice but seems a little far. Some local clubs are Swamp Creek, Kimberton Fish and Game, Boyertown, and Cacoosing Gun Club and Range. I shoot pistol and suppressed AR, occasionally bring a buddy. Not a fan of the 5 round mag limit some ranges have. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

The closest 'full service' club near you is Kimberton. They have a closed membership but I believe they solicit new members in Dec/Jan. Lower Providence Rod & Gun Club is a great club and not too far away. They have many, many members in your area. Atglen is nice but roughly an hour away. I think they have a closed membership as well. Elverson has a nice pistol/rifle range and isn't very busy. I live in the area, feel free to PM me if you have questions. |
