With GunCon on Fathers Day weekend, we decided to move the date to the 13th. More details to follow. |
During the Middle Ages, probably one of the biggest mistakes was not putting on your armor because you were "just going down to the corner."

Weather is close to perfect for tomorrow. If you're bringing a canopy, please bring the appropriate tiedowns in case the wind picks up. My wife has an obligation that will have her away until 3ish. Plan on grilling your own lunch. Trust me, you don't want me doing it. We will have limited cooler space this year. I found our big cooler has an issue and we can't use it tomorrow. I left it out at our conservation club, in the garage. Another member changed the oil in the clubs tractor and set the 5 gallon pail of used diesel motor oil next to the cooler. He neglected to check for the hole in the bucket. I went out this afternoon to find the garage floor and the bottom of the cooler covered in oil and after cleaning the floor, I don't have time to make an additional trip out with the truck to pick it up since I won't put it in the car. I'm slightly irritated. As usual, this is a kid friendly event. While my neighbor might be a little harsh with her kids, I ask this group to keep language check. If there are any last minute questions, let me know. See you tomorrow. |
