| Anyone hunting with a 6.5 grendel here? Carolina sportsman is posting a lot of 200 pound deer. I got a spare lower I can throw a grendel on. Other option is buy a bolt gun in 270 or similar. |

I’m getting back into deer hunting after a fairly long hiatus and will need an appropriate rifle. I think an AR platform in 6.5 Grendel will be the way to go. |

Coming from Arizona hunting and moving to Arizona, I am going to have to caliber down. I have two 300WM in my inventory with 6.5 x 30 x 50 scopes that I used to alway go hunting with. I have a Bull Barrel Remington 700 in .308, going to have to remound a scope for sure. |
