Previous thread got archived as I've been busy with a ton of related projects around the state, but I want to get this fired back up on ARFCOM. The schedule in the OP is CURRENT. In an effort to capitalize on some of the renewed interest we've been seeing in building tribes and learning skillsets, the organization I'm with has decided to open up our training events to a wider audience. Over the years, we've also built up more logistical resources to be able to offer a larger and mores specialized variety of training events with more moving parts, tech integration, and attendance. We usually run between 20-40 attendees per session. So, if you're interested in attending any of these and you're in central VA, shoot me a PM. Because many of these events are held on private land, I (for obvious reasons) can't list specific addresses, but I can get you plugged into our more secure notification channels that will give you all the info you'll need, including times, addresses, gear list, and more details on what the training events will entail. Our calendar is being created right now for the year and should be completed in the next few weeks, but we're kicking the year off with some night ops; details (such as they are--full details are posted in the notification channels): PRIMARY TRAININGS: 07/18 — DMR II and Recon Fundamentals Build on foundational marksmanship while introducing reconnaissance fundamentals, observation techniques, and SALT reporting. 08/22 — Urban Operations II Develop advanced movement, communication, and team tactics for operating safely and effectively in urban environments. 09/19 — FTX Apply the skills learned throughout the year during a realistic, scenario-based field training exercise. 10/17 — Advanced Medical Expand your trauma care capabilities with hands-on training in prolonged field care and advanced casualty management. 11/14 — Defensive Handgun I & II Develop safe, efficient handgun handling skills from fundamentals through intermediate defensive applications. 12/12 — Drone Evasion and Reconnaissance Learn how drones are employed on the modern battlefield and how to observe, evade, and counter aerial surveillance. SUPPLEMENTAL TRAININGS & COMPETITIONS 07/11 (1300) — Optics Zeroing and Equipment Check Confirm rifle zeros, inspect equipment, and ensure all gear is ready for upcoming training. 08/11 (1700) — Intro to Drone Operation Learn the fundamentals of safely operating small unmanned aircraft for reconnaissance and observation. 09/15 (1700) — Intro to Alternative Communications (ATAK & Meshtastic) Explore modern off-grid communication tools and learn the basics of configuring and using ATAK and Meshtastic. 10/10 (0900) — Defensive Carbine I, Qualifications (Standard + BRM) Learn core defensive carbine skills and complete CCM's standard and basic rifle marksmanship qualification courses. TBA — Legal Use of Force Gain a practical understanding of the legal principles governing the justified use of force in self-defense. 12/03 (1700) — Practical Radio Practice real-world radio communication procedures to improve clarity, efficiency, and team coordination.
