I’m going to be in the EI area in a couple of weeks. Any suggested restaurants or things to do or see other than typical beach lounging? Thanks in advance

Hit up the captains kitchen food truck, they have a Facebook page that you can check their location for the day. The fishing pier is pretty cool this time of year as the water warms up. You also have the aquarium just down the street.

Fish Hut is my favorite, Gaffers is pretty good also. The aquarium is nice. Take a drive to the other end of the island and see Fort Macon.

Morehead City waterfront has several great restaurants. I like Southern Salt, Redfish, and Tight Lines.
