Dolly’s announcement This hit the news today. A great way for a wonderful, and Tennessee-local focused entertainer to build on her legacy. Word around the campfire is a rapid rebranding of the signage, documents, and home health equipment within 30-days. No changes to hospital staff or daily operations, just a new name and an undoubted influx of cash. I worked for this facility for fourteen years, with stories to tell. I think this is a great opportunity to use the power of Dolly’s name and foundation to continue treating the pediatric population in East Tennessee. I do feel that Vanderbilt Children’s and Shriners Hospital are far superior, but this is a local win in my book. |

My God daughter had cystic fibrosis and spent some time in East Tennessee Children's hospital. I believe she had superior care in Knoxville over Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt used to be superior but they are cruising on their laurels. I look forward to seeing what happens with the Dolly Children's Hospital. My God daughter is no longer with us. I feel Vanderbilt precipated her decline. @19Charlie278 if you had anything to do with her care there you have my profound gratitude. |
I think one of the major problems with America today is not enough families sit down to a big plate of squirrels momma just fried up.
