Attached File We had 2 great Pyranese show up at our place in Bosque County. The word is someone up the road was arrested and abandoned them. They are nice and mellow. 1 male and 1 female. One might be a lab Pyranese mix. If anyone knows a rescue or is interested, let me know. Local resources are all full . |
| they look so bummed out. like they lost their job and family all at once. for alot of niche type dogs like that they have breed specific rescue websites. google great pyranese rescue see what pops up. someone in your area will run and grab them. if it were me i would make them a nice dinner and pull up a chair and kinda chat at them to let them know someone actually cares. dogs pick up alot from a simple chat even if you think they dont understand our language they get it by reading us really well. |

Geeze, people suck We are already covered up with LGDs at our place, or I'd see about taking them. The ones out there won't get along with anything new (i.e., they'll eat em). Do you know if they are working dogs? If they are, there is a good chance they just went on a hike off their ranch and will go back on their own. Got dehydrated and found a shady spot. I drive through Bosque Co going through Meridian, Clifton, Valley mills and see some dogs that look just like that either South of Meridian or between Walnut Springs and Meridian all the time. Half the time they are half a mile from their sheep herd, laying in the bar ditch. |

My neighbor found out that someone up the road was arrested for drugs and abandoned them. They've been ranging around for a couple weeks. There is no official animal control or services in our county. It's all volunteer. And the rescues around are all full. It's hard to see with all the fur but they were a little skinny. |
