trip is taking me through about 30 miles of Maryland and won't be stopping. Got my Glock and some ten round mags to be legal. Have a case with a lock and will have the mags separate from the gun while driving through. Anything else to worry about? |

You should be fine. Just stay in compliance with FOPA '86, which it sounds like you're doing. Technically, carrying loaded mags is not illegal if they're not in the gun, but not all LE seems to know that. ETA: Note about magazine capacity: We are not allowed to buy mags greater than 10 rounds in this state, but CAN possess them. This means you really don't have to limit yourself to 10 rounds for the sake of MD unless you want to. |
