I’m over in the easternmost part of Tennessee and am looking forward to opening day for doves. I’ve hunted the last few years at the WMAs near Greeneville and done ok. Last year was slow for whatever reason even though the field looked great. However, this year, Lick Creek and Joachim don’t open up until the sixth. Hoping the fields leased by the state get posted soon. I may travel to another WMA and give it a shot as well. I wasn’t successful in locating outfitters this way for day hunts this year. Any of you folks hunting? |
