| Nope, like most people I've never met him so I have to reply on his voting record and what I can find online. An opinion piece is one thing but he chose aye or nay and it's public record. Maybe he should have told people why he voted the way he did. Too late now though, guess we'll see. Looks like the only winner called so far is Wilson over Evette. |

He come from a farming family and also has the government experience to handle that side of it. Ford is a farmer. But, he doesn’t know his way around the office. I’m still pro Goldfinch. But, that’s because I know him. (And machine guns.) Wilson is a goofy SOB and I’ll have a hard time holding my nose for him in November. |

| Agreed, Simpson seemed to be the better choice for Ag and yeah, like Miss Lindsay, what are you gonna do about the others? The dems have horrible people running and even if I were a betting man I wouldn't want to put money on November. As bad as they are, I'm guessing they're still going to need all the R votes they can get to overcome people who are openly espousing policies that aren't in our best interest (trying to be nice here and pick my words). |

The good (or bad) news is that, in SC, the General Assembly runs the show. With a veto proof super majority, Governor is just a figurehead, kind of like The Royal Family. Now, the General Assembly is full of RINOs. They’ve been in power, in all three branches, for 3 decades. So, why aren’t we the least taxed, most free, state in the union? |

State also needs to slow down on growth, infrastructure and service is not keeping up I've noticed that is a split between rinos and the more conservative part of the party As a side note we have bigger issues like practicing lawyers allowed to be active politicians...thats a huge conflict issue to me |

In the continuing idiocy that is SC politics, I'm now getting campaign texts for Andrews (running against Miss Lindsey), and they all lead off with something to do with "...treating childhood gunshot victims...". Looking online, there is almost nothing about this woman, who claims to be from Charleston but lives in DC who began her own antigun lobbying group. Nothing of any substance, essentially just guns bad. Once again I'm going to be forced to vote for that warhawk PoS to try to keep an even bigger PoS out of office.  |
This is really the first year I've gotten campaign texts but Lord, it's been nuts. I don't know if I pissed off someone and they put me a democrat list somewhere or what but starting about a week before the primaries I was getting over a dozen calls and texts a day and it ramped up through election day (I'm assuming most of the unknown calls were political, never seen the numbers before and a lot of them were from out of state). The number of out of state dems wanting me to vote for them or donate money was really crazy. It's slowed to around three to six a day and most of them are SC people. Normally I only get maybe a dozen calls and texts a week.  If you've registered your phone on the do not call list it ought to block all spam, politicians shouldn't have been allowed to exclude themselves but we know how that goes.  General spam callers, but especially scammers, ought to receive drone strikes.
