I finally became a member, it's a very nice range and the president, Rick, that I dealt with was great, very friendly and easy going. I live 15 minutes from the range, so it is super convenient for me. I would like to see if there are any members here that might want to shoot some steel with me, I have steel targets and we can set up at small course of fire for some shooting against the clock. Personally, I prefer this to the formal, organized tournaments. If that's what you are into great, I'm not attacking that, but the standing around and doing busy work for hours only to shoot for a few minutes isn't my cup of tea. In any case, I like to meet up with other members, I'm sure I'll meet a lot of people there, but it looks like a much older crowd, I'm no spring chicken myself, but I still prefer some more active shooting than sitting at the bench.
