I was asked by a member about advertising here in ARFcom, or more specifically NJHTF. I wrote him the following and I think his idea in building a new FFL business, this might help others with similar ideas. " there isn't much you can do in the NJHTF forum as per YOUR actual selling. However as you build up a reputation with the members here they can recommend you to others within the threads. Do not open a "dummie" account and boost yourself or have a friend "new member" do it. The IPs get audited, perps get found out and banned, for life - if Management finds a shill account, you and the shill accountee get banned, for life. This is a site known for its integrity and no shenanigans will be tolerated. IM "Wilson" and request for information for selling in the EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE - I have no idea as to how this works for a FFL dealer. Once some guys from NJHTF do business with you as a result of contacting you through the EE forum (only), you get a +1 or a -1 from your purchaser.... the more +1 you get the better and more trusted members are from ALL over the internet (who do research here) and you can increase sales "just" by having a good reputation.... Is it OK to advertise for a FFL in you avatar (as I see that being done regularly)?
Does it matter if it is a unpaid business, or even a banned member such as *&*? Does it matter if is someone advertising for them self, or a member advertising for someone they have done business with? Thanks for the clarification. |
