| First time hunting. Was down near Dawson (SW corner of the state). Also a pretty new to me, slug gun. I zeroed it in at 100yrd b4 hand. Fired 4 rds at one deer about 120yrds away at a full run, wasn't expecting a hit. Next one was only like 50yrds, standing and looking right at me. I don't know how I missed, idk if I jerked the trigger or what but I did miss, got 3 more rds off when he was running away. Might not of gotten one but it was my first time deer hunting and I still had fun anyways. |

If you don't think you have a chance, and especially when they're at a run like that it's better to have not shot at all. Even if you do hit them, the chance at wounding and not a kill shot is too high to be ethical. |
