Power blinked about a half hour ago, but that was it so far. My big worry is I've got four very large dead poplars up by the road that are starting to chunk themselves down. Not really in the mood to clean them out of the road or have them fall on the stand my electric meter is on. Or god forbid fall and hit the school bus that runs up the road twice a day. Have been on the list for a tree guy out of Groveton for a couple weeks now. I'd do them myself, but they're dead and leaning towards the road. Definite bucket truck territory. I listen to the scanner feeds during storms. Trees down in the roads Franconia, Bethlehem, and Whitefield. I'm sure more. Good day to stay inside. |

Two already fell in the woods.. thankfully the majority of them are healthy and on a slope away from my house |

Mt Washington summit winds this morning were 74 gusting to 92. Kinda breezy up there. Windy as hell over here too. Power blinked a few times an hour ago but... fingers crossed. |

Welp, looks like the worst may be over. That last little band of rain and wind knock me out for a bit over an hour. Pretty lucky here so far. There is a pic of a house with a tree on it from Carroll. That was one of the first things I did when I moved-cleared everything that could touch the house. Surprised there hasn't been any flooding issues. Went from 8" of snow in the yard to to hardly anything after this heat wave. |
