Just had a Democratic Socialist of America volunteer knock on my door to tell me about the three VA Constitutional Amendments on the ballot in November. #1 Enshrines legal access to abortions and contraceptives #2 Enshrines marriage between two adults regardless of race, gender or sex #3 Automatically restore voting rights to all felons that aren't currently in prison He wanted me to vote yes on all three. Obviously, I will vote the opposite. I just find it shocking how socialists openly declare themselves as such now. I know I live in a liberal area but it was literally the 1st thing he said. I almost told him to stop right there but figured I would hear what his agenda was. I was surprised he was just pushing Democratic Party initiatives. They obviously feel socialism is mainstream enough not to turn off voters in NoVa. smh |

The problem is when you go on the news and hear a story about someone who was released from prison multiple times and finally did something unspeakable and you mention it is these policies that is causing it, they somehow don't believe you yet they're voting for it. So it makes me wonder exactly what voters are thinking these things mean exactly? I really feel like there is some sort of disconnection between what people might think vs what these socialists are actually doing. I wonder how many people will be shocked once they start seeing government run health care? Or government run grocery stores? Or what affordable housing actually looks like? |

Y'know, none of that sounds like the kind of shit that the filthy commies try to campaign on. What's their plan to reduce COL? How about housing, healthcare, election security, food production, fucking ecological issues like feral hogs? A few years ago we had Moms Demand Action, a group whose sole stated purpose is to reduce gun violence, testifying in the state legislature AGAINST mandatory minimums for violent criminals. It just highlights their lack of logical thinking, and the extent of liberal brainwashing. They've been told guns are bad, mandatory minimums are unfair/racist and don't question it. |
