Just remember that she does not actually speak in a street rachet style. That's all an act. She was raised in a very conservative and privileged upbringing attending private Catholic schools from kindergarten through college. I can't believe she would give up literally an easy lifelong house seat like this. She could have risen in the House to become quite powerful much like Eddie Bernice Johnson. That's all gone now. She won't get out of the Democratic primaries. Her Democratic opponent is backed by the Las Vegas Sands ownership family who have bottomless pockets for bought and paid for candidates. The casino folks need to get Cornyn and Dan Patrick out of office to clear a path for casinos in Texas. |

I'm not saying that Ken Paxton found a Ring of Power, circa 2023, that brings him only good fortune, but since he was impeached by the House: He wasn't convicted in the Senate, and remains AG. His main opponent from that, the Speaker of the House, didn't run for re-election. The felony fraud cases against him were settled for trivial fines and community service - despite the comical assertions of a poster here who claimed that the settlement had Very Serious Punishments!!!! His primary opponent Cornyn is, justifiably, widely despised for being a do-nothing sell out to Democrats, and is trailing Paxton by double digits. The most dangerous general election opponent, who did reasonably well in 2024 even with Trump on the ballot, isn't running. Now the most likely Democrat to win their primary is a hard core, race obsessed leftist who can't possible win a general election in Texas. Dude either does have Monkey's Paw, or is just about the luckiest politician in the state. |

Last week, they were going to go protest at the new Hutchins city hall. Why? Hutchins has absolutely nothing to do with it. It was just a place on a map with a building as far as the federal government was concerned. And putting it in relative terms, Hutchins is a sleepy little suburb compared to most of South Dallas. Other than the reputation for school shootings, it's sketch, but not Dallas sketch. |
