Anyone know of someone who can chop a shotgun barrel to 20in and not charge me an arm and a leg? Any help would be appreciated. |

Harbor Freight has a plumbers cutoff wheel that is super sharp. It will do about 6 barrels before it becomes too dull to make a good cut. It will still work fine for cooper pipe. I did my son 1897 for a trench gun clone. It will cut square do slow on tightening and it won't leave a ridge inside. I used a dowel with some emery paper to clean it up and it didn't take much. I didn't need a bead as it was on the shroud but that's not had if you have a drill press and correct tap. |
