Anyone just mail it to the sheriff? I dont want to miss work to try to make their business hours. I didnt see a drop box.

Sign off is not required. But you are still required to notify. Or did that change to?

I did run it by the town I live in (since they have better hours) and leave one with them. They say that is for the sherriff, I then mailed mine to the Sheriff for the same reason you did.

Law says police or sheriff
