So about a year ago, I moved to another city in Michigan from a different Michigan city. I put in a change of address with the secretary of state. And it was a little bit different than what I was used to since Im originally from Ohio. In Ohio when you change your address, they take your old id and give you a new one with your new address. But in Michigan, they just gave me a sticker with my new address and told me to put it on the back of my id. So the front of my id still has my old address, but I got a sticker on the back with my new one. I'm buying a gun next week and wondering if that's gonna be good enough and hopefully I don't get turned away. Because I had that happen to me in Ohio. They told me they couldn't sell me a gun until I got a new id with my current address on it. |
