Hey daytec113, thanks for the good word BC-Sgt-USMC-3rdRec82, I enjoyed coming out to visit, the 200 yard range he is talking about isn't fancy but it is nice. Ajax72 depending on when you were there I may have met you, I managed Range One from 2001 until spring of 2003 when I changed jobs. Pete won't have anything good to say about me now as we parted on bad terms but Range One is still a good place to shoot.

Hey Sharps,

Nice to meet you. I used to hang out at Pete's range in the mid-90's. That was when Al was his gunsmith and Donovan, Mike, Neal and that asshole Fred worked there as well. Fred was the ex-Marine LWS (lunch wagon specialist) that claimed he was a Scout/Sniper. If he was a Scout/Sniper then he was the fattest one I had ever seen. Why did Pete stop doing gunshows? I remember seeing Pete and a guy named Aaron in SWAT magazine a few years ago talking about some of the courses they offered.

Pete had stopped gunshows prior to my getting involved but I think it was because he felt it was too much hassle to justify the gains. We tried to get him to let us rent a table with just a few things to sell and a tv/vcr and flyers for classes but never talked him into it. Pete is still offering classes and they are a decent value for the money, at least 2 1/2 years ago when I left they were. I still recommend Range One for shooters as long as they remember not to mention my name. It seems no one can leave Pete's under good terms, most of the time I would agree that it is justified but not always. Chalk it up to personal differences.

Yes, I do! I just got done with nighttime qualification tonight and he, of course, was there. He was actually my supervisor a couple of years ago... He is a great guy and knows a BUNCH about guns!
