I am moving from Alaska back to the lower 48 and looking to make a trip out of it. I will be in a Tacoma, towing a small offroad capable trailer, with a street legal KTM and mountain bike in the trailer. I will have plenty of options as far as mode of transportation for exploring side trips. Will be sleeping in my roof top tent along the way for most nights. Your input / local knowledge on routes is greatly appreciated. From Whitehorse, with an ultimate destination of Whistler, which routes would you suggest for a scenic drive? Google maps wants to take Highway 37 to Prince George and then Highway 97 & 99 to Whistler. Any national parks or others areas along that route that you would recommend? Any deviations from that route that you would recommend? Thanks! |
