Not only are the black Flock cameras everywhere and multiplying, but today I saw 2new cameras appear overnight.  These are taller and larger than the regular Flock cameras. These are lookin directly at YOU and your passengers.  It’s inly 2 so far. How many more will pop up?  Why do they need this?

Interesting, over by the Chevron on Florence Blvd. I hadn't even noticed. Only thing I ever wondered about was the huge amount of light plane activity over the city ever single night, when the local puddle jumper airport closes at 4PM.

The other popped up on Jimmy Kerr.

3 more popped up out of nowhere. I swear they do this at night so no one realizes it. One is near a parking area at a park. That’s definitely for people watching. Crime isn’t THAT bad here.

I saw the one in the photo in the post above this morning.  Big Brother is watching.

Flip it off when you drive by...
Jimmy Kerr ain't the nicest area all the way along that road end to end, that's for certain.

Keep doing FOIAs to get the information the flock has been collecting.  This has caused some agencies to remove the flock cameras.

We're being watched everywhere we go now.

This is from last year “Border Patrol is monitoring US drivers and detaining those with ‘suspicious’ travel patterns” the link is below. The barrels in question are in the center and left side of pictures.

Border Patrol is monitoring US drivers and detaining those with ‘suspicious’ travel patterns

A few months ago, I noticed that they have the orange barrel cameras on the on I-8 and Highway 84 on ramp going west bound and then coming off after passing the freeway overpass going onto Highway 84 going eastbound.  The barrels that I saw are in the center and left side of pictures. That used area be a working gas station and rest stop, now it’s just RV Park, I think it was called Paul’s Corner corrction "Peter's Corner". Did that area have a name?

A other link with more information The Atlas of Surveillance.

Edited for correction.

SInce I last posted those white PTZ cameras are everywhere now.  I don’t know who makes them, but they appear out of nowhere.  They must install them in the middle of the night. Now there are dozens of Flock cameras everywhere in addition these big white cameras. I mean WTF. CG doesn’t have crime to the level of needing total surveillance.

Since Iast posted dozens more cameras have appeared.  Now several Flock cameras are in my apt parking lot.  Never saw them installed. They were just there the next day. There’s also one of the big white cameras in the driveway. This is disturbing.  They are putting the whole city under 24/7 surveillance. They must do this at 3 in the morning so no one sees them doing it.  Flagstaff may lean left but they removed the cameras.

I realize this is from 3 months ago, but Casa Grande (KCGZ) and Eloy (E60) and Coolidge (P08) are all popular destinations
for flight training, especially at night, and it's where I got my night training at.

The rules are that you need at least one night cross country flight that's at least 100 nautical miles total distance
(so 50+ nm airport to airport, or a combination that adds to 100nm) and for most of the airports in the Phoenix area
going down to Eloy, or going to more than one airport in the area (since you need 10 landings as well) is a easy
one-shot way to get that done. Since there's some major league commercial flight training based in the Phoenix
area it's probably that.

Well. Now I learned that CG has a 10 year contract with Flock for 10 million dollars. 100 plate readers and 100 people watchers, and police drones. They also want to tap into the school camera systems.  CG will be one of the most heavily surveilled cities of its size in the country.  When will they require ankle monitors?

Graham County is doing similar. My lease is up shortly and I'm waiting on an offer letter, then it's hopefully back to NM for me. Arizona is becoming a surveillance state with few redeeming qualities.

Oh please.  Drugs aren’t running through the local parks.  You can’t even enjoy your time at the park without an AI camera tracking you.  They don’t even make that many drug busts here.

If you think the only place we are getting ALPR data is from Flock Cameras, you are fooling yourselves.  We use Flock and at least three other major companies to collect license plate and vehicle data.   There are vehicles driving around the cities and every parking lot daily soaking up every license plate data.  Daily.  We know where your vehicle has been yesterday, last week, last month, last year.  AI takes that data and plots the comings and goings.  That has been going on for years.  DPS has had LPR cameras on the interstates for more than a decade, right in Casa Grande, and other major arteries.

Flock is chicken scratch, as they only keep data for 90 days.  It is good data, but the other companies we use keep the data for years.  And they are tied into all sorts of other camera systems, which then plug into our facial recognition databases.   So if you walk down your street, downtown, pass by a flock camera, or any of the thousands of cameras pointed at you daily, 80% are tied into systems our databases can access.

Get rid of Flock?   Go ahead.  There will be ten other companies that get the data in other ways.  Flock made the mistake of making it all public.  Now you all are going to shut it down, most of the rest, you have no idea they are operating.

Yeah, and this is the result of that hyper computerized surveillance.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/us/articles/florida-woman-wrongfully-jailed-fhp-213929052.html
...Modern crash investigations increasingly rely on technology like Flock license plate reader cameras, surveillance footage, timeline analysis, and digital tracking tools to identify suspect vehicles. In this case, authorities used those tools alongside witness statements to help build the case against Isaacs’ black Dodge Durango before the investigation later shifted toward a different SUV and a different driver. The reversal is turning the case into the kind of nightmare scenario critics of automated surveillance technology have warned about for years. Now, conflicting affidavits, defense vehicle photos, and prosecutors’ dramatic pivot are fueling major questions about how investigators became so certain they had the right vehicle in the first place.

Speaking for myself, I'm not especially worried about you as your agency's use of the data is subject to oversight and accountability. Abuse of personal data by corporate entities is more what concerns me right now.

Sorry it had to be an ultra liberal blue state like NM.   Good luck.
