| While doing a transfer at Copper Customs last week, I overheard them talking about a new range opening up. I asked about it, and the counter guy said they are rehabbing the old range at Blythes. It will be full-auto rated and they will have rentals. Opening this summer. |

I have a buddy doing the work on it. He showed me the 3d model. It's going to be the nicest range in the area. He told me the extra cost to have it rated for higher than .338 wasn't worth it. Check out fast metal range on for updates. Link |

Excellent. Apparently Armory 219 is moving as well to a building with a range. Haven’t seen anything official but that what a buddy that works there told me last fall. Good to see some new ranges other than Range USA |

I went to Fast Metals open house today to check it out. Its really nice. Im thinking about starting a membership. They will have full auto rentals, low light and night vision shoots, and drawing from holsters. Some of it you'll need to be a member but it's nice to have that option. |

I finally shot there today. They allow full-auto and FRTs, but they watch you for the first couple mags to see if you can handle it. The only FRT handgun is the TX22 that they allow. I'll go back as it's 15 minutes from the house. The rentals were reasonable, you told the check in guy what you wanted and they brought it out, not sure about the machine gun rentals. Ammo is hit and miss, 9mm was reasonable, but 5.56 was expensive. Side note, I rented the Springfield Echelon, and then I drove over to Copper Customs to look at buying one, which I did. They reduced the cost of the gun by the rental amount, which was nice. |
