I haven't fished for bass since I was a kid with my Dad and Grandpa, probably 35-40 years ago. Having lived in Alaska most of my life, bass were not an option. I would like to go large mouth fishing again and potentially take my kids to as well. I'm in Meridian. Is there anywhere within a reasonable drive that has shore fishing for large mouth? |

I stick to the Snake River for all my fishing needs and have only pulled out smallmouth. I do believe Lake Lowell holds largemouth but I’ve ever caught one out there to verify. The Powder River Arm of the Snake River/Brownlee Reservoir in OR also has largemouth. I’ve never caught one but I’ve seen many caught there. Hope this helps! |
