Just thought I'd mention this to the group. The Badger Knife show is this weekend and the holiday inn express in Janesville. Tons of custom knives. The show was good. Lots of very cool stuff there. Most of it is from custom makers. I saw a Nakiri I really wanted for my kitchen but I couldn't talk myself into spending $400 on it. I am, unfortunately, very familiar with BRK. I probably have $2,500 worth of their knives. Well, that's what they were worth a couple months ago. Now probably half that. I've been to the shop, met all the people. I did one of their Grind Ins a couple years ago and made my own knife using their equipment. It wasn't that impressive then, so I am not totally surprised this all happened. Didn't hear anyone talking about it at the show. |
