I just heard Roger has sold the building and closed the doors of Burnsville Pistol Range. Wow shot there many times! Sad to see gun businesses close. |

I was a frequent visitor to BV pistol range myself for the last 15 years. It's my understanding that Roger had the place for sale for years, and only recently found an offer. Im pretty sure he is close to eighty years old, and I'm sure can't wait to retire. If that's the case I hope he enjoys his downtime and I'll say thanks for being the coolest lowkey range the metro had for years. |

It was awful when the Permit to Carry instructors brought their students in. And, they did not understand the rules. No wonder several prominent instructors were asked to not use the range anymore. Back in the early 90s all there was Metro/Bills/Burnsville now look the landscape |

Dang. I am kind of surprised that they hung on as long as the did after Modern Sportsman opened up a block away. Having the longer rifle bay was nice, but after the fire the rules for the rifle bay got a little obnoxious. |
The government is just a corporation with a monopoly on violence.

I was in the rifle bay 2 weeks after it opened. The amount of damage done in a short period of time was awful. Too many people with poor skills! Does not matter all the indoor ranges are shot up. |

Well with Modern Sportsman around the block, and no buyer for the business as a range Roger was a fun fellow to talk with when time permitted. The southern metro has lost three ranges - BPR, Gander in Lakeville and the range at Dakota Sport and Fitness. |
