Will be taking the wife and 4 kids to Boston and doing the Freedom Trail stuff sometime soon.

Any advice or tips for doing this?  I've never been to Boston.  Any cool food spots or things we shouldn't miss?

We have 4 weeks in the area so we'll probably visit multiple times.

Checking out Lexington/Concord stuff tomorrow.

Thanks!

We currently have no state.  We're staying in Plymouth for 5 weeks.

Make sure to head over to see the USS Constitution - if you're in the North End it's very close.  Also you can take the water taxi to many of the islands in the harbor, Including Fort Warren.

As for food - it's endless!  Here’s a couple of my favorites: Vinoteca di Monica (a little pricy, but creat), Lucia’s, Monica's Mercato & Salumeria, and Bricco Salumeria.  These last two are both deli with great sandwiches (or grindas as they say).

If you visit the USS Constitution, look up Warren Tavern (founded in 1780),  a 10-15 min walk.

I'm not OP, but thanks for the tips. We did a nice dinner at Vinoteca and subs at Monica's and Bricco, as well as a loaf of bread from Bricco's alley basement bakery. Monica's sub was overwhelmingly better, but costs nearly double and had a decent line. We also bought coffee beans and Lemon ice's from Polcari's to beat the heat. The North end has some great food. We had a Mike's vs Modern bakery  showdown, and Mike's was the favorite. Thanks for the suggestions.
