If you want anything vaguely semi-auto that requires a ffl ,you should already own it. If not buy it before the enactment date (Aug 1st i think). If not, you will have to pay the government to waste your time to buy most things. But as no one seems to know the details, it will be difficult and probably full of inconsistencies for several years. Lots of people will wrongly interpret it (both to leniently or to strictly), whilst precedences get established. The only thing the gun restrictions are good for is forcing you to buy now what otherwise you would wait on, or even not purchase. My credit card took a beating before queens tax took effect, but i'm better set now than I would be otherwise. |
| Keep in mind too that the next step will be an outright ban without possessing the special ID card, followed by an outright ban with a list of owners. This thing hasn't even been enacted yet and they've already tried banning more and more. Barrels, 3d printer files, It probably won't be long before this ID process just identifies owners for confiscation. I hope someone is able to get an injunction because the way the law is being implemented is much more strict than how it was sold and how the law is actually written. You cant write a law saying "Cars that can do over 200mph are restricted" and then turn around and say "oh, we're going to count all cars. Planes too. Also, taking the bus counts. And bicycles." |
