I have an early 2015 Scorpion EVO SBR that I’m looking to have some work done on it… Basically a business that can do good work WITHOUT scaring up or banging up the original finish on the metal and especially on the polymer lower parts. I’m looking to have the following work done; A) Replace the factory barrel with a U.S. made barrel B) Replace the factory trigger with a U.S. made trigger C) Replace the factory charging handle with a U.S. made charging handle D) Replace the factory sear with a U.S. made sear I’m sure I could do most of this work, except for the barrel removal and installation, but WTF, I’m lazy and doing a lot of home projects. Plus, I suck since I would bang and scratch the F’ out of it… As a former Army Tanker, my default is always the “bigger hammer” method and in the end, will cost me more to fix my own screw ups. Anyway, thanks for any advice!! |

Thanks for the replies! I hear you and agree that the 922r is pure BS, but “I” do not want to be the test case in any federal court proceedings in Washington state on this issue. I’m too old and broke to challenge the federal government since they have far deeper pockets than me. IMHO, they would love to make an example out of anybody, if you should run into some “anti-gun” ATF agent at one of the local ranges who would like to inspect your SBR, for compliance. I’m sure things are a little different on the east side, but here in the Seattle/Tacoma area, I’m not taking any chances since I value my freedom far more than any firearm on this planet. |
