| Hi, new guy here. Are there any Army/Navy surplus stores in central Iowa? There use to be one on Army post Road on the south side of Des Moines. |

Army/Navy surplus stores are an increasingly rare sight in Iowa. JAX Outdoors, on the west side of Ames has a little military surplus(very little). Jacobson's gun store, in Story City, also has some military surplus. The south side store was Betts surplus. They also used to have a military surplus and hardware store in the Des Moines east village area, many years ago. |
