It boiled down to finger prints. I had submitted all the other docs and I was trying to coordinate prints with another state I was applying for. The coordination fell through and we really don't need a ccw here, I put off completing the application. Granted, it had been a year since I started the process (incremental additions during that time) but out of the blue I get an email stating they canceled my application with no refund. I would have to re-apply. Nothing in the ARS gives a timeline on when all has to be completed that I could find. |

That's a long time, seems kind of understandable that it would get cancelled. I started mine Dec 30th, did fingerprints on Jan 8th and was approved on Jan 10th. |

| When I got here, I did it all online and did the prints at a local place the same day. Used my Utah permit for proof of training. Literally got the card in the mail I think 2 or 3 days later. I was shocked how fast it was. I hadn't even got my physical drivers license in the mail yet. |
