Hey guys, I'm a Michigander that has a daughter in Minneapolis. I want to her build her an AR. I think it would be better legally if she bought the lower in Minnesota. Does anyone in the Minneapolis area have recommendations for A local gun store that carries lowers? Thank you in advance. |

First off if she buys it. She will need a permit to purchase or a permit to carry. And if you said what part of the cities she lives in that might help guide her to a closer dealer to help with getting a lower. |

There are plenty of indoor ranges to let you have her test fire the new Pew Pew! Modern Sportsman in Burnsville Burnsville Pistol Range in Burnsville Stock and Barrel in Chanhassen might be the easier to get to. |

There are not many public outdoor ranges without driving a bit. Del-Tone in St. Cloud is one. Some of the Sporting Clays places have ranges that pay to shoot. Oakdale has summer hours on weekends for public use. The vast majority of clubs on that DNR map are private. Some have waiting lists to join. Some are easy to join. Others have membership period open (usually after people have not renewed their membership), and they know how many openings are available. The metro has a plethora of indoor ranges to function check and sight in a new build. |
