Headed up that way in a few weeks . We have one stopped planned . Who knows when I may be that way again . So what are the top 2 or. 3 things to do in the area . Also maybe a couple or 3 decent restaurants for lunch and supper ? I know I can’t hit everything but give me a few choices please . |

you said a few weeks from now. Just be aware that EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) has the annual fly-in at the end of July/beginning of Aug. Hotels may be very difficult to find. GB is outside of the immediate area, so it may be better, but book now if you want to. That said, EAA is a whole day experience if you are into planes. Everyday at 3 PM they run a airshow. Definitely worth seeing. Edit - I misread. you only have 3-4 hours, not days. EAA won't be an option. It's an hour drive each way. |
