Thanks guys for another great time. Scott, Thanks for bringing the good stuff. My Dad and buddy are now hooked on full auto.  Bob, Thanks for bringing the Tannerite. Just wish I had bought some off of you for Sunday. Everyone else, Thanks for coming out and braving the cold like many others. As always it was just as much fun to walk aroudn a dn talk to everyone as it was to shoot. The trip to Tumbleweeds and to the party room afterward will be remembered for a long time to come. Not that many of you will ever live it down. And, I want to know where everyone ran off to Sunday morning? We had breakfast and went over to the range until 3 or so. |

I have pics of Pudwak and Mr Softy, took them down cause I guess they violate the COC here at Arfcom, but if you go to Photobucket and search for ScottACousino and click on the KnobCreek Link there are two photo's of Mr Softy, one he is tied to tannerite, the other is after he has been wounded by my .308.......and now the rest of the story. Mr Softy had been tied with a piece of caution tape to a 1/2 pound bottle of tannerite to finally meet his maker, as the line went hot and I trained the crosshairs of my Rem 700P in .308 on his pink softness, someone from the right side of the line dropped the hammer before I could pull the trigger. Imagine my Horror as I looked thru the scope as Mr Softy was freed from his bond with the tannerite by a shot that didn't ignite the bottle but instead shot the caution tape binding them together. Mr Softy being freed from his fate, fell forward as the tannerite went to the left, and was shot by Serena, the blond on the .223 Rem AICS. I felt for Mr Softy but since he was already in my sights I put a .308 thru him for good measure, right near his "Head", after that he scooted under the van. Do I feel a little guilt as he had beaten the Tannerite odds and lived to "play" another day, maybe a little. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Scott |
| I have a lil over 100 pics, most of them thanks to my girlfriend. I also have a few videos as well. I have a bunch of pics from the conference room. Ill look through them all and post all of the ones that wont get me banned. Ill also put the videos up on Youtube for you all to see. |
Hot tub until around 10am, loaded the truck by 11:30. Chinese buffet in Louisville then KyBob's house at 1pm, Indy by 4pm. No shots were fired. |
We might have to go the home made route next time. That stuff is expensive! |

Edited - This is in reply to SubnetMask's post on page 3. Ummm...Confession time: I owe you a couple of Honey Browns. Thanks for sharing (not that you'd remember, but I'm just stating the facts). And since we're confessing, we were all drinking Knob Creek and Jim Beam and something else that left me feeling warm inside and yet oddly sort of nasty all at the same time. Musta been the Old Grandad. And yes, you did leave at EXACTLY the same time as KY Bob, but as they say, what happens at KNOB Creek (insert music from Boogie Nights) stays at Knob Creek, right? Zoub, about the pics of the chicks making out at the party...well, dude, all I'm gonna say is that you'll never, ever, get a copy to do whatever twisted thing you'd do with them. (I just wanted to make sure the dinner postie was OK with it  ) Subnet, I can't believe you don't remember your promise to me! You DID fulfill it. Mrs. Subnet, you should look into a taser for those late night noises. All other methods including repeated beatings with above mentioned latex toy did not work. I tried to make him snuggle with mark, but he would not wake up. Subnet did put Mr. Softie out of his pain. He also tried to revive him later in the night. I was very disappointed that Mr. Softie did not get smeared by the tannerite, but maybe next time. It's OK subnet I don't remember leaving the Kentuky room either. I've got my pics (&vids) posted on photobucket, just have not posted here yet.On the way home, we could all smell whiskey in the car.  We assumed it was finally escaping my body, but we later found out that the bottle of granddad did not have a tight cap. (and that my wood ammo box was directly under it my office smells really nice )Thank you to the guys that put this together.

Yup, but you have to have the right mixture and consistency too....there's a post floating around with the directions...I'll see if I can find them. 95:5 AN to Alum. powder, but you have to use 2 seperate blenders to grind them up to the right consistency. |

| Working in Horticulture I should not have a problem getting the 34-0-0 ammonium nitrate. It is standard fertilizer. The alumnium powder is another story. Zoub did you say you might be able to get Al powder? Bob you were right it is expensive to buy tannerite. A 50lb bag of 34-0-0 should not be more than 100$. Find the powdered Al and I will bring the ammonium nitrate. Web link says homemade A N must be ground in a blender to work. Other posts say it works in prill form(round particles) that it comes in as a fertilizer. I noticed that it was in prill form at the range but Tanner's formula calls for some small additives to assist detotonation so I do not know if it must be powdered A N or granular will still work. Lets figure this out because I do NOT want to grind 50lbs of A N if I don't have to. |

Do I need to blender it before or is granular going to work thats the real question
Might as well mix it, vac seal it in bags, spray paint the bags orange. The flat vac seal bags will tape up a lot easier to flat target surfaces than bottles. You can make any size you want, easy to see if painted orange. |
