I didn't have any issues with the sizing. Two of the holes used sizes so similar that I was unable to tell the drill bits apart by eye. They were something like .020 apart. I had to be super careful to keep each drill bit in its marked baggie. But, MUP-1 was the only kit that I ever ruined. I managed to collapse the chassis inward when drilling. I bent it back and completed it for practice, but it was too damaged to work properly. It was the only build where I had to buy a new blank and start from scratch. On the second try, I jammed a piece of sacrificial wood inside the chassis blank after I secured it in the jig. |
