The only thing I do not like is the gripping surface for pulling back the slide. It's too small and hard to grasp quickly. Gun shoots well and the trigger is decent enough, but still not a gun I will keep above my Glocks, Sig's and 1911's, so it is pretty much the first gun I will trade off if the chance comes up for something I really want. |

Picked up a Sar9 x plat. Finally got to put it through it's paces, umm holy shit you have to try to miss with it. The MHP 105gr it ate no issue but you felt it and more flip than ball 115, 124 gr. the 147 v crown it ate and asked for more. I have zero issue carrying it. |

Alright so the local Sportsmans warehouse had the sar9 on sale for $250 and I purchased one. I have yet to shoot it. I am very much not liking where the trigger actually breaks. Allllllltheeeeeewayyyyy back. I might see if an actual Glock trigger may fit it. First I need to shoot it a bunch. Fit and finish seem to be ok for such an economic choice. |

Until the stupid state mag fuckery starts a SAR9 PLAT is my edc in a Vedder light tuck. Large backstrap and med swells fits my hands well. One of the two flattest shooters I have, other is a Tp9 SFX. Another ccw is a echelon and refuse to get more 10rd for it. |

PSA has a Black Friday deal for one that’s $195 delivered. I guess I’m gonna FO. Stupid cheap Not that I have any want or need for another full-size 9mm. But… it’s less than 4 bags of groceries! |

For $195 delivered… why not? |

I just got one from the PSA Black Friday special ($179) and paid $240 with all the fees, shipping & taxes. I think it's a great pistol for the money and am looking forward to taking it to the range. I like the option for a thumb safety. I'm back in the SAO phase as I recently picked up a 1911 and S&W CSX as carry guns. I like to have the same manual of arms across all my defensive guns. I just added a thumb safety to my P365 and P07 as well. That way I get in the mode of thumbing off the safety by habit. Previously, I had DA or DAO guns without safeties (J-frame, Kahr, Glock, etc.) but switched mainly out of boredom and going back to my roots. My first serious competition & defensive pistol was a 1911. I'm not sure why, but I'm back into preferring a thumb safety again. If these go on sale again, I may pick up another one. The price is hard to beat and I like the platform. The newer gen 2 guns are twice the money, so it's time to get a few before they are gone. I'll eventually pick up a gen 2 when I come across a deal. I'm going to take it to the range and see how I like it before I play with the safety. These Turkish guns are definitely a lot of value for the cost. When I first got into buying guns, the Chinese guns were coming still a thing. These Turkish guns are a lot better value for the money. They are as nicely finished as the domestic guns they compete against. |

It’s 100% reliable now, and now that I’m not fighting malfunctions, I was able to see how accurate this thing is. I was able to dump 3 mags full at 7 yards offhand into a pretty tight group: So I tried to do a “Lethal Weapon”ish smiley face at 25 yards offhand: Eh… close enough. |
