picked one up at PSA on sale, this is a NICE pistol. trigger is terrible with the mag disconnect....took it out and its the best trigger i have now. anyone have one? |

I have Girsan MC P35 and I removed the magazine disconnect safety on mine. After shooting a couple hundred rounds the trigger is very useable. I don’t have a trigger gauge but the trigger is a little heavier than my two 1911’s which isn’t surprising. I have no trouble shooting my Grisan accurately. When I removed the magazine safety I had to first drift out the hammer pin. Once the hammer pin was out it was not difficult to remove the mag disconnect safety. The hammer pin takes some pretty good hits with a hammer to dislodge but well worth the effort. I have a S&W 39-2, 439 and 5904 with magazine disconnect safeties. I carried these pistols on duty and trained with them. The magazine safety does not impede quick mag changes like the P35 design. I much prefer the mag disconnect removed on a P35 but have no issue with the mag disconnect safeties on my S&W 9’s. PSA still has the Centurion 14 for $369.99 which is a very tempting price. I’ve been wanting the Inglis P35 L9A1 Hi Power imported by SDS Imports even though I have a bunch of other 9 mm’s. The Inglis is more like the military versions of the Hi Power and I like the appearance and the sites.
