I cannot for the life of me get the slide stop pin to move. what am I doing wrong? I've been following the instructions on the overwatch site, and it shows the guy barely touching the pin and it comes right out. Help!

Been there.. On most of my PDPs the slide lock comes off without any problems. I ran into the same problem with one of them though, I tried everything, pin never moved. I stopped when the pin started to deform from hitting it with a punch. I contacted Walther customer service and explained my problem, they immediately issued a return label. I sent the DPT and gun off, and had it back with my new trigger installed literally a few days later. I would reach out to Walther, its a well known problem that some guns are impossible to take apart without whatever tool/jig they have. Note, my replacement trigger was the Walther DPT, doubt they are willing to mess with a different brand trigger. But you should at least be able to have them take apart/replace the slide lock lever so you can work on the gun yourself. @NSEGE |

| IIRC, don't you have to lift the slide stop lever partially upward before attempting to punch it out? A coworker struggled removing his as well, and I put an empty magazine in to get it to partially lift and ultimately was able to remove it. It did require a significant amount of force. Hope you get it taken care of! |
