Decided to breathe some new life into an old XD-40 4" that's been sitting in the safe for a while. It used to be my 3-gun pistol way back when, I wouodn't be surprised if I haven't shot it in 10 years. I picked up a complete like new OSP slide and barrel for $270, I have a optic plate coming and a spare Holosun 407c that needs a home. Anybody else tried this upgrayyed yet? |

| I havent' bit wish they would offer more optic cut slides for their other XD,XDm models. I've got an XDSC that I would like to put an optic on as well as an XDm full size. I've got several others I've paid a high price for an optics cut at PRP, but with all the new optics cut models it's not worth it to pay shy of $200 just for them to mill the slide. |

Yes, that would be great to have the OSP slides for more of the pistols. Its a little hard to justify paying that much to cut a slide or even buy a replacement slide when gou can get a whole brand new XD Mod 3 for just a little bit more that comes with a factory cut slide. |

Yep, that's why I jumped on one when they came out. Though I do prefer the full size M's more. The middle one is one of my PRP milled slides. | Well I got the slide, it's great. I also picked up the mounting plate, and I put a Holosun 407c on it. Even with the suppressor height sights on it, you can just barely see the top of the front sight with the MRDS on it. Otherwise its pretty good, I'm glad I bought it. If I already had a 9mm 4" XD I don't think I would have bought it, but it was only $270 for the slide, barrel and RSA and I don't have to leave a pistol sitting in the safe anymore. |
