I would rather buy a MCK for the pistol as you don't need to remove anything on the gun itself. I bought a gen 1 MCK for a Glock 17 and within a couple seconds, I can have the pistol back to it's original pistol form if need be. With the Glock 17 in the MCK, it is amazing at how accurate the pistol can be. At 35 yards, longest lane at my local indoor range, I am able to shoot a ragged hole at the target with a cheap red dot optic. |

Even before the P320 imploded, I didn't understand why no one is making an inexpensive chassis for the cheaper FCU guns like the Arex, APX, RXM which are all like $250-350. Or even a dedicated Dagger Gen 3 compatible frame with a pic rail. If you could build out one of these for under $700 they'd sell. |

My grouping is tighter and more accurate as well when shouldered vs than just shooting the RXM as a handgun. More points of contact to stabilize. |

Strike Industries is Instagram fodder stuff that doesn’t work in real life. I’ve given them multiple tries. Literally EVERYTHING has been awful. My last go round with them. 8 Glock mags. Every single one did this with brass cased ammo. The other rounds just fell out after causing a malfunction. Attached File |

I think the Strike Industries SMC makes sense for somebody who just wants something inexpensive to screw around with, or to test to see if they're even interested in investing more money in the platform. If you already own an rxm and a 1913 compatible brace. You just have to spend $70 to try it out. If you don't like it, you sell it to someone else and you lose a few bucks. If you like it and you want higher quality, you sell it and you lose a few bucks and you spend almost $500 on a higher quality product. I think we all agree 98% of the people who are buying any of these are not going to carry them every day. They're mostly buying them because they are neat and they want to try something different. It's absolutely fulfills that and they will sell a bunch of them. Would I buy one? Probably not, but I'm a handgun person, not a long gun (or not so long gun) person. |
