On Gunbroker I see the Sig P238 FDE for sale as a rare pistol. Why is that? Here’s mine and was wondering.  " />

I think it is just something people say to draw your attention to it. It is more of a limited run but there are many out there. Sig is known to make all kinds of colors and designs on there guns and then drop them all of the sudden. Will it fetch anymore than any other P238? That is up to the buyer and if they are willing to pay more. I will say they are great guns and superior to the Colt Mustang. I have an older Mustang and the additions Sig made to the design makes them a game changer. |

The P238 is a pretty cool little pistol and one of the few I can actually quickly do three shots quickly and hit the target. Mine is a variant that I think was exclusive to Bass Pro: the “Spartan” version with odd plum-colored finish and Spartan helmet on the grips. There were a million more colors and styles. |
