Looking to get an old Gen 3 I've had for a few years milled out to replace my G35 (I know, it's big friggin gun). Was hoping to find local to avoid shipping but I haven't found anyone reputable. Most likely going to use C&H Precision but figured I'd ask who the cool kid is right now before I send it out. Thanks. |

CHPWS is the exact opposite of go to. They had my 1911 slide for 13 months. They claimed they couldn't get ahold of me to see what optic I wanted it cut for. I've had the same email and phone number for decades, neither have ever been shut off. They contacted me like 5 times the first few months to verify that I wanted an RMSc cut on it. Which was also on the order form I submitted on their site and sent a copy of with the slide. Then they went radio silent and finally contacted me nearly a year later to once again verify that I wanted an RMSc cut and claimed they'd been trying to reach me for months. I finally got it back at the 13 month mark with a few spots of surface rust that hadn't been there when I sent it in. Do a little digging and you'll find plenty more horror stories about them. |

When I finally received it, they hadn't direct milled my slide like I had wanted, but had instead milled it for their plate system and it looked like ass. |

I recently had Glock Store do a Trijicon SRO on a G19.3. They advertise a 10 day turn around and definitely live up to that. No issues at all. Mine had screws missing and they installed them at no charge. They also installed my suppressor height sights. I would use them again. |

Stay the hell away from Wager, he does cheap ass, bargain optic cuts with sloppy tolerances. I've seen quite a few with huge front and rear gaps like 2mm wide. I have used ATEI in the past and they are excellent, if you send them your optic they will mill it so tight that it finger tightens into place. |

 Jagerwerks did the Glock 41. Wager did the Glock 30. Both with the nitride finish option. Jagerwerks did some solid work on the 41; it's a special job due to the lightening cuts in the slide. They pressed a stainless plug into the lightening cut and staked it. My only complaint is they took far longer than quoted. Wager did fantastic work on the Glock 30. Quick turn around, RMR snaps into place on the posts. I think their pocket is reasonable. The RMR in particular has a lot of variability in housing size, but the important dimension is the posts and they nailed it. If I ever need another slide milled, I'll probably go with Wager again. |

Wager is recommended a lot on Reddit and Nameless Armament is a great mom and pop shop to deal with. His Facebook page is full of lots of informative posts and videos. He just got a Glock V and Gen6 and has been giving a lot of info and photos. |
| Wager just cut my Glock slide for a 509T last week. I send all my non mos slides to them. Always pleased with the work. I can’t speak on coatings I just get the bluing done on my cuts because you can’t see it anyway once the optic is mounted. I don’t run safe queens anyway. |

I had Battlewerx cut and refinish my slide and I bought my RMR-HD and backup sights from them and they did the install for both. I’m quite happy. The RMR is as low as it can go and hasn’t given me any trouble at all. The other thing I like is how they show you how the different height sites will work. These Ameriglos have the rear sight notch lined up pretty much perfectly with the deck of the RMR. They also use the Zev lugs in their RMR cut, which seems like a good idea. | I haven't used Battle Werx for any machining, but I did recently purchase one of their ported slide/barrel combos for a Gen5 19. The machine work is outstanding on both slide and barrel. Factory internals fit perfectly with no tweaking. My holosun snapped right into the slot with zero play. Upper ran 100% on a Gen5 19 frame as well as a G45. Their black nitride finish seems to be much better than the crap Glock put on the Gen4 guns. Extremely happy with it, plan on sending them a G45 slide to mill for an optic. |

Wager Machine Works is the budget go to they tend to cost $140 with nitride refinishing and that takes some added lead time to get it back to you or they will blue the cut area for $100 and get it back to you within a few days. They also offer cerakote for $120 (maybe more for other colors). I went with battlewerx when I had my slide milled. Think it cost $200 (Nitride, bought suppressor height sights and they installed) at the time they had one of the deepest cuts on the market. No issues in the last like 6 years? |

| If you can wait until Black Friday, Battlewerx has a killer deal every year. I had them cut my non MOS Glock 45. It was $100. $70 for the cut and $30 for the DLC refinish. They did a superb job on it. Took them about 3 weeks or so because they had so send out the slide for refinish. |

I've had many slides done by them and they are always a precision fit. Rmrs even hold zero after battery change |
