For those with high round count P320's, what parts should I stock up on? I shoot around 15,000 rds of 9mm a year. I'm close to approaching the 10k mark on my M17X. I just purchased an extra recoil spring assembly, 2 extractor spring replacements, and an apex fail resistant machined steel extractor that i just installed. Is there any other parts I should have on hand to replace? I plan to shoot this gun for quite some time and will probably get it up past 30k by this time next year. This is my first 320 that I'm putting the time and ammo into so I've never seen what parts are known to "fail". |

I do the 5k and 10k service on a good number of agency guns every year. For the shooters in the bunch, I'd stock: Note; Things will last a lot longer if you'll keep the striker/striker channel clean and dry. As well as keeping oil and grit out of the sear pack Recoil guide rod/spring. Service life at 5K for the compact/carry. 10k for the full size. Trigger bar spring, as needed. Guys who deep clean the FCU tend to gonzo on that spring and shorten service life I'd keep a spare slide lock and spring/hat. Rare, but if dropped or caught on something, they can/do break. Extractor. Sear safety pin. Just because if there's no tension they'll slide right out. You'd think people couldn't lose a pin that big, but I keep a stash for a reason. Spare sear springs. I keep all the striker parts and spring spares, but SIG really treats the entire striker assembly as a swappable part so easy to keep a spare. If for some reason you've dismounted your optic more than twice, get some replacement screws and follow installation instructions to the letter as far as torque and thread locker application. Those tiny screws only have a few reps on them. Barrel - if you've got that many rounds thru you'll know. I've seen some really high round count rental guns with 2 or 3 destroyed spring that kept chugging along. They weren't happy but kept going. Shoot and enjoy. |

Awesome thanks for the replies! Bought an extra striker assembly and sear springs, going to try the armory craft trigger reset. Didn't hear about them until now and the videos of it looks great! Coming from a Glock, the trigger reset is the worst part of a P320. Will be happy if that spring makes it better! |
