Which one? The new ones are around $1,400. They're 29-10s. If your LGS can get you out the door with a new one for that, you're doing well. Last 29-2 I bought had no finish and was a factory 4" for $425. It's now metalloyed which was around $200 more. $600 - $800 for a nice used one is pretty fair. |

" how long is a string" way too many variables....to answer. As far as purchasing s 29-2 for $800..... not impossible but not common....depending on condition. |

I bought one similar to what you describe a few months ago and I paid $1600. I knew it was high but had been trying to find one for a while and frankly got sick of looking and determined the premium I paid was less than what my time was worth. |

That's substantially more than this one is. I've always kinda wanted one, but trying to find out how easy it would be to get out of it quickly. Im kinda done buying stuff, but this one is tempting. |

If I was really itching for one, I'd fo @$800 for sure and be tempted for anything under a grand if it was clean. Luckily I already have that exact gun, (29-2 p&r)and caught a smoking deal for substantially less. (Lady inherited it and wanted nothing to do with it. Right place, right time.) |
