I just bought an HK P30 earlier in the week. Wow. With the replicable side panels and replicable back strap, you can really tailor the grip shape to your hand. I have the large side panels on there with large palm swells that feel really nice and fill up the hand. Glock guys would probably like the large or medium back strap with the big bump at the bottom of the rear. I like the small back strap to keep the rear flatter and not push the muzzle up. I'm usually not a fan of finger grooves, but for some reason, they work for me on this gun. Nice undercut on the trigger guard too. Texture seems to be a good balance without being too aggressive where it tears up your hands or grabs clothing. I never realized how nice the grip is on these guns. I need to find a VP9 now. I agree with folks talking about the PDP also. That gun has great ergoes as well. |

For me it was my Berretta 96. It was an extension of my hand. Like I was just pointing my index finger at something. Foolishly sold it. My "owned" favorite is my 10mm RIA 1911 style with the mag well flair. |

The best feeling handgun I've got are the P01 Omega 9MM pistols. The CZ75's are good, but not like the P01. The M&P full size pistols are as good (feeling) as the CZ75's but most of them don't shoot nearly as well as the CZ pistols. Feeling good can be over rated/not a significant factor it shooting it well. My P09 and P07 CZ's do not fit my hand like the three I listed first but in my hand they outshoot all of them. |

Guns with a really angled grip don't work in my hands and point too high ie Glock. I've got a bunch I like but currently I would say my Echelon 4.0c with a backstrap and mag base that I designed is the most comfortable and also now shoots where I naturally point it. The mag base matches the grip better and doesn't wiggle around so it feels like part of the grip and makes the compact feel more like a full size. I'm really liking it with probably my GP100 in 2nd place

1911 feels pretty good to me along with K,L and N frame S&W revolvers although with the Revolvers it depends on what grips are on them. Packmeyers no , Houges yes. On the other hand I have a old G30 that feels terrible , kind of like holding a brick . The big fat grip sort of forces me to firmly grip it and I shoot it very very well. From time to time I have seen folks in a gun store "trying out" how a pistol feels to them . Got to believe that feel doesn't have much to do with how well they are going to shoot it |
