Not surprising. An absolute icon of firearms design but it's days are past. I doubt they were flying off the shelves. I have a PP in 32 and a Smalther PPK in 380. I have the itch for a PPK in 32 but it's not at the top of the list. There's also a PP Super in the pile, but that's a different creature. |

Shoot a PDP Pro or regular PDP with the DPT trigger and you’ll realize the VP9 trigger isn’t as good as you thought. |

PSA has a deal going for Mothers day / clearance. Ordered a blackened stainless model for $599 Thursday night. I've wanted a PPK since I was a kid watching old James Bond movies. After reading about the pause in production and PSA offering up an awesome deal, I decided to pick up the .32 acp model. I'll update as soon as I pick it up from PSA, not sure how long the shipping will take |

Picked it up today. Grabbed two boxes of ammo. Also, .32acp is stupid expensive these days. $30 a box at PSA. Got a box of PMC 60gr JHP and a box of Winchester 71gr FMJ. loaded the first two mags with the PMC and had zero failures. Loaded the next two mags with the Winchester. First mag went fine, second mag had one failure to feed. Kicked that round out and finished the mag. Loaded the failed round back in the mag (only round in the mag) and tried to chamber. Failed again. Checked the round and the brass case had a rolled over area from the bullet being seated. Actually pushed the brass outward. This kept it from chambering. Put a few more mags through before I packed up. No other issues. Going to give it a good cleaning and price shop the ammo. |

Finally got my new PPKS in 32 acp out to the range. Noticed the grips loosened after the first few mags. I tightened the grips and....................... both of the plastic grips split after the next mag. So I now ordered nice wood grips as a replacement. Hopefully this will solve the problem. After Googling this issue it seems its very common with this pistol. Oh well |
