The EVO 9 finally arrived the other day. Now I need to get out,and shoot it, and see if I have the failure to return to battery that everyone else is experiencing.

I'm so jealous of that whole setup...

Except the mag release, you got the wrong one! Haha

Just in case, I know a LOT of people are searching. Ordered 2 from Earl's, didn't send me any tracking but arrived in 3 business days, very professionally packaged.

The feel in hand is nearly the same as my full size. No pinching or anything. I have noticed that instead of curving back toward the mag it stays stubby, see pictures.

Here are a couple of mine

a 1974 police trade in.  No import marks and it was originally issued ti the Rineland Palatinate Police.

Here in a Walther PPK made in 1935.. looks pretty good for an 80 year old gun.  I hope I fare a well.

PPK/S I inherited from my step father.

The only mags that came with it were two piece of shit Triple Ks.  One actually sort of worked...a milestone for Triple K.  The other was broken.

I have an original Walther and a few Mec Gars on the way!  Can't wait!  Next will be some grips....from either Germany or the Czech Republic....then it's off to be refinished in style.

Nice, but those grips make the baby Jesus cry.

Needs the original Walther banner grips.

After getting the thing back from Walther with the right springs in it, it runs 100% while suppressed.

One of my favorite handguns in my collection. My first-gen, non-S&W, olive drab framed P99. I shoot this girl a lot!

I absolutely agree. If I found another locally I would buy it immediately as a backup.

The new HD pistol, shown with 25 rounds of Federal Low Recoil PD 165 gr. Hydra Shok®.

The PPQ 45 is my second favorite Walther, #1 is my Nazi marked P-38 w/matching serial numbered magazine and the marked holster of the former "owner" (late 1944).

...and here they are together:
