Anyone have one? Broke down and bought one Saturday, at Brownells of all places. I'd looked at it a number of times in recent years, finally said screw it and snagged it. One of the stainless Interarms guns. Paid too much or bought it too early. Take your pick. Super clean, box and papers. Took it to the range to try out ammo. I've owned a lot of the little 22's over they years and know they can be picky. CCI Mini Mags, Winchester Super X, and CCI Blazer ran without a hitch. Aguila and CCI Standard gave me a couple misfires, but they sparked off the second time. Not sure if I blame the ammo or the gun. CCI Quiet didn't work at all, which I expected. Did not do any accuracy work, this was just a function test. And it was raining. Overall happy. Trigger is surprisingly nice for a Walter. No hammer bite or slide gouging. Recoil was nothing. Probably pick up a Triple K mag or two for range use. Factory mags are out there starting around $150. No thanks. Oddly factory 25 acp mags are much more common and way cheaper. Bought this mostly for entertainment. Would make a nice bicycle gun I suppose. |
