| Went to the range today, had a blast but in my tx22 toro I had 3-4 out of battery discharges. Got home and cleaned it, it was leaded up pretty good. My gut is saying that was most likely the issue. ( haven't had this issue before). Anyone else having this on a dirty or otherwise tx22?----No frt or anything. |

Not specific to the TX 22 but I got some out of spec Aguila ammo where the bullet diameter was too large. The cartridges didn’t completely chamber causing an out of battery on an Advantage Arms Glock 22 conversion on a Combat Armory frame. Only a few cartridges in the box of 250 or 500 had the issue but I had a second OOB. I was shooting this ammo in a dedicated CMMG 22 LR AR-15 and got another OOB with the Aguila ammo. I have had very few problems with Aguila rimfire ammo but this box was inferior to the norm. I decided to shoot the rest of the box in my 22 LR revolvers and my Henry lever action. You could feel the out of spec ammo had difficulty chambering in the revolver but I finished the box with no more OOB. Having a dirty chamber can contribute to the cartridge/slide not going completely in battery. |
