Adding a new gun soon. Been EDC'ing an RMR'd genIII G19 for a decade. Finally going to swap to a smaller hi cap frame EDC. Choices are the G43X, the G48 or the Sig 365 optic. The Glocks will run and RMRCC and the Sig 365 the factory glass. For you G43X/48 guys which do ya'll shoot better. I have heard some shoot the 48 better. Some the 43X. Is there a reason or concensus among us? SIG anyone? |

| I sold my Glocks (43X, 19.4, 44) and went with the P365 when I switched to optics. The 43X shoots great, carries great, but is no match for the versatility of the P365 series. I kept my G29.4 and still carry it once in a while. I can tell you that the p365 has a fully charged striker when in condition 1 and the Glock has a partially charged striker when in condition 1. I went with the manual safety version because of this. That’s my personal choice and by no means a negative point for either system. They are both extremely safe and robust systems, but that is why the trigger on the Sig is so much better and crisper than Glock. |

Former 365 owner. Very happy with my 43x, but l chose that only to add a ramjet. Had issues with two of them and gave up, and as a result wish I would have gone 48, but the 43x is still a nice shooter. With the new mags available, my preference is for the Glocks. |

I have a P365, a 43X and a 48. All with Trijicon RMRcs. I carry the 365 the most because it’s the smallest and easiest to conceal. With MagGuts spring and follower, it holds 12+1 flush. It’s just a hair too big for pocket carry (in most of my wardrobe) but with a tuck holster, it’s damn near invisible with a button down shirt and slacks. It’s not my favorite gun to shoot but it is accurate enough for 15 yard head shots and it’s been perfectly reliable. The 43X is the one I carry when I’m wearing jeans and an untucked shirt. Again, perfect reliability, easier to grip than the 365, and because of the grip, easier to get and stay on target. The G48 is the one that I should carry because I shoot a bit better with it, but for some reason, it hasn’t left the safe in awhile. It has a softer recoil than either the 365 or 43X, readily available 15rd mags and the slightly longer barrel is no more noticeable (IWB) than the 43X…...but for some reason, I prefer the 43X. |

| My vote is G48 out of the two. I have a G43 and a G48 so I came “make” a 43x if I choose to. I have tried it several times but I prefer the G48 set up. More accurate in my hands. I also have carried a G19 primarily up till last year so the footprint is familiar. |

I went 43x. I kind of wish I had gone 48 for the longer barrel length, but not enough for me to make a change. If you can conceal a G19 comfortably, there is no reason not to get a 48 IMO. Sig is a bit of a none starter for me. To many issues as a company. |

The ramjets changed the POI so much that the irons were useless. Groups for the first one were so bad I stopped wasting gold dot. The second was better, but would throw a random round 3 inches off the mark. Torque values were checked at least twice, absolutely not the issue. Factory barrel back in, and voila, back to normal. Could have been some odd tolerance stack issue where my Glock was on one end that didn’t play well with their design, but 0 for 2 was all I needed to stop wasting my time. Bummer too because that’s setup was a very smooth shooter. A few guys at work have them on the larger frames, and the only consistent theme with them is a minor POI shift. Couple clicks on the dot and a few taps on the rear sight usually solve that. These had no chance. |

| I have a Glock 48 and a Glock 43 and have used the 43 slide on the Glock 48 frame. I carry the 48 in cooler weather and rarely ever carry the Glock 19. When I bought my Glock 43 I retired my Glock 27. I carry the Glock 43 or the Glock 48 with PSA fifteen round mags. I find the thinner Glock 48 shoots great and is more comfortable to carry than a Glock 19. I carry IWB at 3-4 O clock regardless of my particular cc pistol. |
| Two of my kids have g43. I am a big glock fan but when it comes to thin and easy to carry the 365 is the better choice for me. 43 with a 6rd mag. May as well have a revolver. I carry a 365x that shoots extremely well is thin and easy to carry with great capacity. |

Honestly none of it made sense to me either because I haven’t heard of a ton of issues with these. I’ve heard of a few, but not anything regular. I genuinely believe it was just as much my particular G43x as it was their parts. Just not a good combo. But in the event someone else is experiencing issues, at least it’s now known. |

I shoot my P365 X-Macro better than my G19s. I suspect it would be even better than the 43x. X-Macro and 43x are virtually the same size… the 365XL and others are actually more compact than the 43x. X-Macro non-comp $675 3.7” barrel 21.5 oz 17+1 Better Trigger Night Sights Optic ready Modular FCU 3 back-straps to choose from in the box Additional grip modules available (OEM and aftermarket) 1913 Pic rail 21 & 25 rds OEM mags available Flux raider compatibility 43X MOS $485 3.4” barrel Optic ready 18.55 oz 10+1 15+1 @ $32 Trijicon Night Sites $100 w/shipping |

I picked up another OG 43X. Attached File It'll end up being a twin of this one. The slide, optic, and sights are on the way to Battle Werx. Attached File |

I also don’t have to worry about holster compatibility. I also went with a GritGrips frame, Vex F3 shoe, Apex connector, 5lb striker spring, Defender CCW, Vickers slide stop, and the Glock metal mags. It’s pretty close to perfect for a carry gun for me. It’s just missing the GritGrips magwell if I could ever catch the one I want in stock. I’ve also converted 5 guys at work who bought G48’s but opted to continue carrying 19’s after shooting them. Once they tried mine they all got their slides ported from Slideworks and are actually carrying their G48’s now. |

I assume they used cold blue on it like GlockStore does because I don’t see any bare metal and haven’t had any issues with it rusting. |

I just left the 43x + RJ world and slid into the G48 world. Far less concussive. |

EDC a G48 mos w/ holosun 407k, everything else is stock. The new glock 15 round magazines were the icing on the cake for me and this setup. Nothing wrong with a 43x, I prefer the longer barrel length. ETA: forgot that I recently added a Streamlight tlr 7 sub light to it. Makes no difference in how I carry, just needed a new holster. |

I love my 43x. If I were to buy it again though, would get the 48. It shoots a touch softer. Don't like comps. I've shot a friends 43x with ramjet and a custom ported 43x. In terms of recoil, the 48 is nearly there with them without the blast of the braked or comped guns. |
|
I handled both the 48 and the 43x several years ago, ended up going with the 48, an older one with a silver slide. I haven’t carried it regularly, despite having Kramer and RyanGrizzle holsters for it. Just went on a long road trip and took the 48 along; it carries comfortably and easily concealed. I left it stock but for some X/S night sights. Gotta get some of the new 15 rounders. |
| I don't recall ever feeling like the 43X with RJ is more concussive than the stock 43X. I haven't found it to be unpleasant to shoot at all. I have 8500 rounds on my current 43X with 3000 of those rounds being through the RJ. |

I have a 365 with an RMRCC and a 43x MOS with a Vortex Defender enclosed. The pistols are different. The ability to swap grip modules and also use magazines from 10 rounds to 17 or more on the Sig is awesome. After using both optics, the Vortex blows the trij out of the water. |
